- The first step is to find what the projection and the depth the coving should be fitted at
- Adjust your mitre box accordingly
- With a sharp hand saw cut your first corner, then your second corner
- Offer these two pieces up together to make sure they match
- Mix up some joint filler
- Then butter up both edges of the coving using a trowel
- Fix this to the wall using drywall screws and a screw gun temporarily
- Do the same with the other piece, not forgetting the internal
- Offer this up to the other piece and fix with screws
- Make sure to clean off joint filler with tools
